Operation

This system is designed for clean room applications where the air must be constantly filtered.
The door position switches are the key to the operation. The power supply uses these switches to constantly monitor the status of each door.
A timer is included in the package, but may not be required. When the timer is used it introduces a "delay period" that restricts traffic through the doors. For example, a person entering the area may need to be held between the closed doors for a period while the air is being filtered. If the timer is set to 20 seconds that person must wait between the doors for 20 seconds before moving on. The timer starts its count down only when the opened door has been completely closed.
If the timer is not used, then a person opening the first door may pass through the second, but only after the first door closes.
A fire alarm interface is included in the package. Should the fire alarm sound, both doors are immediately unlocked and remain so until the system is manually reset.
