9600 Electric Strike

The 9600 is designed to replace the strike furnished with rim exit devices. It is a completely surface mounted unit meaning no jamb prep. If you have a new device installation, you can place it to line up with the 9600. If you are replacing a standard strike, check the dimensions of the both the existing strike and the 9600 to see how closely they match.

The key dimension is the thickness of the 9600, which is 3/4".  This should closely match the projection of the standard strike furnished with the exit device.  You don't want to have to re-mount an existing device by sliding it over 1/8" or so.  The new bolt holes will overlap your existing holes and make for a difficult installation.

The 9600 features an internally mounted solenoid and two stainless steel, independently-operating locking mechanisms. The 9600 is easy to install, with all components of the 9600 encased in the ¾" thick stainless steel housing, requiring no cuts to the jamb prior to installation.
