The body design of each closer is different.

Each has it's own height and width, allowing them to fit within a certain header size. The trick is knowing the size of your header before ordering.

Most frame headers are only 2" high, thereby limiting your choices of closer models. Sometimes you'll see headers that are 4'' high, and though unusual they allow most any closer model to fit.

Be sure to view the "Images" tab on each model.  We've included dimensions in the image so you may order properly.

NOTE: The 3130 series is unique as the closer body mounts in the top of the door.  All the other models mount into the frame header.
