Von Duprin ALK Alarm Kits are battery powered (9v) alarms that sound when the bar is pressed.
The kit includes a cover plate that replaces the standard cover plate. Finish and device length are required to receive the correct plate.
To install, slide out existing cover plate and replace with alarm kit. Install battery (included), then install mortise cylinder.
Use keyed mortise cylinder (not included) to arm and disarm alarm.
NOTE: Different series devices take different kits due to the varying styles of the cover plate. The 22 series has it's own plate style. 33A and 99 series use the same kit as they have the same plate style (grooved). 35A and 98 series use the same kit as they have the same plate style (smooth).
